Racing through time as I run from the shadows of death. Needless to say, I know that it won’t find me or it can’t corrupt my soul with darkness. I’ve been accustomed to playing this game that it seeks, called Hide & Seek. But to death it’s humorous because it wants my soul to devour to harness my inner light that I may be trapped with other mortal souls that played that vicious game called Hide and Seek. See they were weak and full of anger with no compassion to live, but I want to live my life and not be sucked into the other dimension we call Hell to be forgotten and cast to the side. As I’m running and these thoughts are racing through my head, I see a shadow that is close behind me and its following me and it’s getting closer and closer. I tried to speed away but it seemed like the more I ran the closer it came to me. As I’m sweating and I’m full of fear and my heart is pounding like a bullet that is about to come out of a shotgun. I run into this room and I locked the door because there was no where else to run. I cried out for Jesus to help me, but like always there was no voice and no answer until I heard a small whisper say, “Have faith and believe.” I was stunned when I heard that voice and I thought I was hearing things when the voice said those same words again and then I realize I wasn’t hallucinating. It was Jesus and he was here to save me from the wrath as the entity known as death! At that moment I wasn’t afraid anymore and I calmed down and then I heard a loud banging on the door and scratching sounds and then the devilish figure showed its face through the window. As I stood there looking at this evil in the face, I knew I had Jesus on my side and I told this entity that it didn’t scare me anymore and that I wasn’t scared to die and then those words were uttered again saying, “Have faith and believe.” As I heard those words again I started praying as the entity laughed and tried to lash out at me but it couldn’t and then a magnificent light came out of nowhere, pushing Death back. You could hear the hate and evil in its’ voice as it tried to fight against the light. I heard the shrills of lost souls screaming for help. Then all of a sudden, everything was still and quiet and it was over. Taking a deep breath, I was safe and I thanked Jesus, when all of a sudden I hear a voice that said, “No, No this isn’t Jesus, and your soul is mines!” I turned around and saw death as I screamed for help as he began pulling the flesh off of my skin, as I saw my blood dripping from my body. Then he covered my mouth and I couldn’t say a word but scream on the inside and then he said Jonas, “Have faith and believe.” As he laughed and we vanished.
