The Headless Horseman- Sleepy Hollow (Hallowweek)

The Headless Horseman- Sleepy Hollow (Hallowweek)

Just at this moment a plushy tramp by the side of the bridge caught the sensitive ear of Ichabod. In the dark shadow of the grove, on the margin of the brook, he beheld something large, misshapen and towering. Though the night was dark and dismal, yet the form of the unknown might now in some degree be ascertained. He appeared to be a horseman of large dimensions, and mounted on a black horse of powerful frame.” Many times has the tale been told, the story of the hapless schoolmaster and the ghastly, mysterious rider whom he encountered in the darkness of the forest. None can say with utter certainty what fate befell poor Ichabod Crane, but one thing is true: he, along with the Headless Horseman, shall live on even in death, through the legend of Sleepy Hollow. However even in death, that is but in the physical. For the spirit life continues on after one’s passing. In doing so, the specter of crane and his arch nemesis the headless horseman, will continue to meet, fight and live as it were in an almost constant battle. To never really and truly be at rest until their spirits are able to accomplish what they could not in life. When ghosts have a midnight jamboree. They break it up with fiendish glee. Ghosts are bad but the one that’s cursed, is the Headless Horseman, he’s the worst. When he goes jogging across the land, while holding his noggin in his hand. The Demons take one look and groan and they hit the road for parts unknown. There’s no fright like a spook that’s spurned, because they don’t like him and he’s really burnt. They swear to the longest day he’s dead, But he’ll show them that he can get a head when he collects their souls and behead them like they did him, when he met his fate and his legend continues as he known as “SLEEPY HOLLOW.”
